For self-drive car rentals, we offer a Full to full tank Fuel Policy but we may accept other arrangement that suit your need.

Our Fuel Policy For Car Hire In Uganda also has some restricted fuel stations from which you may not fuel our rental cars. For great performance, our rental cars may only be fueled from Total, Shell or Stabex Fuel Stations. Its important to note that both Shell and Total petrol stations may not be available in many remote locations. You are advised to plan your fuel top ups well when traversing the countryside. For your ease of mind, Stabex Petrol stations are more accessible in the country side.

It might also be useful for you to know that in Uganda, all petrol stations have an attendant who tops up for you. You will not need to do it yourself.

Most Shell and Total petrol stations accept Visa card payments. But as you move deeper into the countryside, you will be safer carrying some cash for your fuel payments. Always ask if Visa is accepted before they top up your tank to avoid being stranded after a top up.
